High School Ministry Registration
Goals for Preparation for Confirmation:
- Accompany youth to an encounter with Jesus in Sacred Scripture, the Eucharist, the faith community, and their neighbor.
- Motivate the youth take on the mission they were given in their baptism as priest, prophet and servant-king/queen in their own life
- Guide the youth in their lives as missionary disciples; encouraging them to live out their lives with the values of the Gospel.
- Accompany youth in their current reality, incarnating the faith in five dimensions of life (personal development, interpersonal relationships, local & global cultural context, participation in society, and faith life.)

Opportunities for Youth!
Creation Care Teens – is open to anyone in grades 9-12 interested in learning and leading care for creation; monthly meetings take place over zoom, making accessible from all reaches of the diocese! Optional in-person events complement our zooms. Info and applications are due Sept 15th at bit.ly/CCTeens2026.
Art Contest
Grades 4-12 are invited to submit a photo image of an original creation of visual art by September 21st. Register at bit.ly/SOC_ArtContest_. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners at our Feast of Saint Francis Festival on October 4th.

Creation Care Teens está abierto a todos los estudiantes de 9.º a 12.º grado que estén interesados en aprender y liderar iniciativas para el cuidado de la creación.
Las reuniones se realizan mensualmente por Zoom, lo que permite la participación de jóvenes de todas las áreas de la diócesis. Además, se ofrecen eventos presenciales opcionales para complementar las reuniones virtuales.

Se invita a los estudiantes de 4.º grado a 12.º grado a presentar una fotografía de una obra de arte visual original antes del 21 de septiembre.
