Confirmation and High School Ministry
Registrations for Confirmation and High School Ministry begin July 6, 2026.
Welcome to your child’s sacramental preparation program for Confirmation! We are so happy that we can be a part of their journey in faith.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the sacraments of initiation, along with Baptism and Eucharist. This sacrament is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace and serves as a foundation for a continuum of spiritual growth as one’s life unfolds and matures.
High School Ministry
We invite all high school teens (grades 9–12) to participate in our High School Ministry!
What Is High School Ministry?
High School Ministry is a youth group where all teens are welcome. It provides a place for young people to build friendships, grow in their faith, and deepen their relationship with Christ.
This ministry is open to all teens who would like to learn more about their faith. To receive updates about events, activities, and announcements, please register through our Flocknote Registration Link to receive notifications by email or text message.
At St. Didacus, preparation for Confirmation typically begins in the 9th grade school year and the Sacrament is received in the 10th grade school year.
- Confirmation is open to all high schoolers (grades 9-12)
- Classes are held every Tuesday from 6:00PM to 7:15PM in the parish hall.
- First Day of Class: September 1, 2026 at 6pm.

Important Notice
In accordance with diocesan guidelines, all students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are required to complete a two-year program.
Volunteer Opportunities
Teens will have opportunities to participate in volunteer service projects and parish activities throughout the year.
We also welcome young adults and adults who would like to share their time and talents as volunteers. Whether you can help with classes, events, retreats, or other activities on a one-time or ongoing basis, we would love to have you join our ministry team.
Adult volunteers are invited to serve as Confirmation mentors or catechist for 9th grade students as they prepare for Confirmation during their 10th grade year. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to help the students grow in deeper relationship with God through small group discussions geared at reflecting on how God is moving in their lives. The program’s goal is to help the students create a strong foundation of faith as they’re equipped with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit through Confirmation.
